As the business grew they relocated from London to Salisbury in 1971. The lease at 18, Beauchamp Place was transferred to Miss Julie Loughnan, designer and retailer of exquisite children's clothes. She also agreed to be the exclusive London stockist of Julip Horses. Current Julip director Annabel remembers Julie fondly and spent many a happy time having a cup of tea and chatting to her in the little back room off the shop.
Having operated from Braishfield and Salisbury for several years, the Heaths and the company moved to Devon in 1980. Julip remained there until the Heaths decided to retire and Julip Model Horses was purchased on June 4th 1984 by Sally Green and her daughter Annabel Levaux. In the first couple of months Sally and Annabel travelled from their home in Dorset to the workshop in Newton Abbott where the Heaths kindly and patiently taught them the art of making Julips. Later that summer Julip was on the hoof once more and moved to West Dorset.
